Activities for Children and Adults

Woman and girl

We have collected several activities that parents or teachers can do with children—and some that children can do on their own. Just choose a subject from the menu at the left, then select an activity that is the right age or grade level for your child. As time goes by, we will add new activities and replace old ones, so please come back again.

Some of the activities you will see here are from Family Connections, a series of learning guides for schools and families with young children. These guides are based on research and sets can be purchased by a school, a preschool, or any group interested in education. To learn about buying Family Connections, follow this link.

To help you get started, here are 10 Ways for Parents to Help Teachers and Helping Your Child to Succeed. These tips can be used with children of all ages.
